The XCMG XR400E Rotary Drilling Rig is a versatile machine designed for various foundation construction projects, including urban development, railways, highways, bridges, subways, and buildings. It features a double-boom luffing mechanism and an H-style hydraulic retractable crawler chassis with a large-diameter slewing bearing, ensuring exceptional stability and ease of transport.

Powered by a Cummins electronically controlled turbocharged engine with three power settings, the XR400E allows operators to select the appropriate gear based on specific working conditions, optimizing performance and fuel efficiency. The main hydraulic system employs negative flow control, integrating main and limit power controls to enhance system efficiency and fully utilize engine power. A compact three-in-one cooling system ensures high cooling efficiency.

The rig's main winch utilizes a single-rope design to reduce steel rope wear and extend its lifespan. The rotary drive offers Normal, Rock, and Energy-Saving modes, enabling users to select the appropriate setting for different geological conditions, thereby improving work efficiency and reducing fuel consumption. Optional configurations, such as crowd winch, outrigger cylinder, and sleeve-driven systems, are available to meet diverse project requirements. A centralized lubrication system is standard, facilitating maintenance and enhancing reliability.
